Aprovechando que parece que el invierno se resiste a hacer su aparición, puedo seguir tirando de chaquetas como ésta hasta que llegue el momento de sacar los abrigos de verdad. Es la enésima chaqueta que tengo de forma "perfecto" y la enésima prenda de inspiración étnica, pero ¿qué puedo decir? Me encantan!

Taking advantage of the fact that this year the winter hasn't made its appearance yet, i can still use my jackets until i have no option but wearing big coats. This is the umpteenth jacket with "perfecto" or biker shape and the umpteenth garment with ethnic inspiration  that i buy. But, what can i say? I love them!

Wedding!

Antes incluso de saber que tendría esta boda, había decidido que -en cuanto tuviera oportunidad- luciría un canotier de este tipo. Y así ha sido! Lo compré hace años y estaba muerto de risa en el armario. Era el típico modelo básico con tira negra, así que opté por darle un aire más atractivo. Compré las flores y cinta del mismo color que el mono y me puse a ello. Os lo recomiendo 100% porque es facilísimo: yo busqué tutoriales y en un ratito estaba listo.

El resto del outfit giró en torno al mismo, partiendo de la base de que, otra vez más, quería llevar mono.

El cinturón es un modelo que llevaba en mi cabeza mucho tiempo; no sé dónde ni en qué momento vi algo parecido, pero desde hace mucho quería uno así, así que cuando lo encontré en Uterqüe ni lo dudé! Espero que os guste.

Even before knowing about this wedding, i had decided that, as soon as i had the opportunity, i'd use a canotier like this. And that was what i did! I actually bought this one some years ago and i hadn't worn it yet. It was the basic model with black ribbon so i wanted to give it a special touch. I purchased the flowers and a ribbon with the same colour than the playsuit and searched for some tutorials on the Internet. It's really easy, i totally recommend it.

The rest of the look was composed according to the hat, taking into account that as always i wanted to wear a jumpsuit- i'm addicted!

The belt is a model that i had been stuck in my head; i don't know where or when i saw something similar but i've been looking for one like this a lot of time. So that, when i found this in Uterqüe i had no doubts. I hope you like it!

Kimono fever

Creo que ya lo he dicho muchas veces, que mi década favorita son sin duda los 70's, así que todo aquello que tenga un toque hippie, boho o como queráis llamarlo, tiene altas probabilidades de gustarme. Por eso cuando fui a Londres este kimono se vino conmigo en el viaje de vuelta. Espero que os guste!

I think i've already said it several times, but my favorite decade is no doubts the 70's, so every single piece with a boho or hippie touch is likely to make me fall in love. Therefore, when i travelled to London i couldn't resist to this cute kimono. I hope you like it!

Color for rainy days!

Recuerdo que os enseñé este poncho en un post desde Ámsterdam...cómo pasa el tiempo! Eso sí, me sigue gustando tanto o más que el primer día. En estas fotos podéis ver también una sudadera que uso mucho últimamente: la encontré en las rebajas y me encanta el detalle de los diferentes tonos de denim. Espero que os guste!

I remember that i showed you this poncho in a post from Ámsterdam...time flies! Anyway, i still love it, even more than the first day. In these pictures you can also see a sweater that i'm using a lot lately: i found it in sales and i love the detail of different shades of denim. I hope you like it!

Rock star

Estaba agotadísimo y con la "etiqueta online" de back soon permanentemente pero, después de innumerables visitas a todos los Zaras de Madrid, al fin di con él. Vestido largo, de flores y con transparencias...tenía que ser mío. Espero que os guste cómo lo he combinado con mi nueva perfecto - sí otra!-, también llevaba mucho tiempo tras esta prenda, buscando una en negro que reuniera todas mis preferencias.

It was totally sold out and 'back soon' labelled in their web but, after many visits to every single Zara in Madrid, I've got it. Long flowered see-through dress...it had to be mine! I hope you like the way I wore it: I matched with my new perfecto jacket. I know, i know, i'm kinda obsessed with this kind of garment but I've been looking so much time for the perfect black perfecto!

Después de un pequeño parón vuelvo a la carga, aunque no sé por cuanto tiempo. Me he mudado recientemente a Madrid, donde- si os fijáis- están hechas las fotos, y no estoy segura de cómo afectará al ritmo del blog. After a little hiatus i come back with a new post, although i'm not sure for how long. Ladies who lunch

Va a hacer casi un año desde que os enseñé estos botines (en este post), un año por tanto desde que me decidí a decir adiós a mi melena. Con esto no quiero sino animaros a cambiar de vez en cuando de look, que el pelo -más o menos rápido- crece! Es verdad que yo como más cómoda me siento es con el pelo largo, lo cual no quita para que después de tantos años estuviera ya aburrida de verme siempre igual. Algún día haré un post con ciertas pautas para el cuidado del cabello que os pueden ayudar.

It's almost one year since I showed you these booties (in this post), so it's also one year since I had my long hair cut. I'm trying to encourage you to change your look occasionally because hair -faster or slower-grows! To be honest, I'm a long-hair lover, but I was a bit bored after so many years looking the same way. Someday i'll publish a post telling you some of my tips.

Sunday light

Aunque prefiera el frío al calor, se agradece dejar por unos días el abrigo en casa y volver a pasear blazers y similares sin un millón de capas encima. He aprovechado además para estrenar mi nuevo chollo, una camiseta con estampado étnico que encontré en la sección masculina de H&M a un precio irrisorio.

Even when i prefer cold to warm days, it's a relief to leave coats at home and be able to go for a walk just wearing your blazer or similar without layering all your closet. Moreover, I've taken advantage to use my new bargain: this ethnic-printed t-shirt i found in the masculine section of H&M.
