Scottish touch

Mi absoluta adoración por los ponchos, capas, mantas...ha quedado más que patente en este blog a lo largo de los años. Creo que la primera vez que saqué algo de este estilo fue en este post de 2011! Pero éste que os enseño hoy es un poquito más especial, ya que lo compré en Edinburgh, así que es auténticamente escocés: me encanta ir acumulando prendas de los sitios a los que voy, porque les añade un valor especial y te ayudan a recordar los lugares que descubriste.

My total adoration to ponchos, capes, blankets...has become clear in this blog over the years. I think that the first time i showed something like this was in this post in 2011! But the one i'm wearing in these pics is a bit more special since i bought it in Edinburgh, so it's authentically Scottish: i love to buy garments from places i visit because they have a special value and help you to remember those new spots you discovered.

¿Recordáis cuando os presenté aquí la chaqueta que había hecho? Pues ahora os enseño mi segunda prenda: una capa en tweed de diferentes tonos, que admite múltiples opciones, pero que he decidido combinar con gris para cederle todo el protagonismo. Decidme qué os parece!

Do you remember when i showed here the jacket i had made by myself? Now you can see my second garment: a multicolor tweed cape which can be styled in very different ways. I've decided to wear it with a total gray outfit to give it all the attention. Give me your opinion!

Ethnic jeans

Otro regalito de Reyes que sale por aquí: mis vaqueros con estampado étnico de H&M. Tienen un color algo difícil pero, al final, encontré este jersey -que ya visteis aquí- y creo que combinan bastante bien. Y la capa sigue siendo uno de los favoritos de mi armario, consigue levantar cualquier look! Os gusta?

Another Christmas gift: my new ethnic jeans. They have a color a bit rare but i found that jersey in Zara -you could see it here too- and i think they match really well. And the cape is still one of my favs, it maximizes any look! Do you like it?

Slow speed

Unas imágenes en un escenario un tanto diferente esta vez. Se trata del circuito de Assen, conocido como la "catedral del motociclismo".

Los jerséis (si tienen coderas mucho mejor!) son -más allá de la obviedad de estar presentes cada invierno- una de las prendas de la temporada. Vienen sobretodo en versión oversize o boyfriend en punto rústico para llevarlos con pantalones muy estrechos o, incluso, como vestido. Y los tejidos en colores metálicos arrasan desde el verano. Así que la mezcla de ambos se me hacía irresistible.

A different background this time. These pics were taken in the Assen circuit, "The Cathedral" of motorcycling.

Jerseys (I prefer them with elbow pads!) are one of trends of this season. It's obvious that they are a basic garment of every winter but, this year, they're even more present. Oversize/boyfriend version is preferable, to wear with skinny jeans or as a dress. And fabrics with metallic threads are also so fashionable right now that...this pullover was absolutely irresistible!

Tongue twister

Ésta es la capa de la que hablé en otro post, la que compré en Navidades. Es de Sfera y tiene el detalle de ser tipo trenca...me gustó una que vi en Zara monísima con una lazada en la espalda...y como esa se me escapó, ésta tenía que ser mía!

La camisa verde army y los mocasines son de Zara, la camiseta de H&M...y el bolso...otro "préstamo" directo del armario de mi mami!

This is the cape I talked about some posts ago, the one I bought in Xmas. It's from Sfera and it's a mix between cape and duffel coat.

The army green shirt and the loafers are from Zara, the tee from H&M...and the purse...another "loan" from my mum's closet.
