New needs

Tamaño medio, cierre cómodo, color versátil y con asa larga para poderlo llevar también cruzado. Es justo lo que andaba buscando: un bolso que pudiera usar tanto para clase como para salir, teniendo sobre todo en cuenta...el tema bici! Y los satchel, además, me encantan.

Medium-size, easy-closing, versatile color and with a long handle. It's just what I was looking for: a purse for college but also for going out, taking into account, of course...my new vehicle! Moreover, I love satchels.

New horizons

He aquí la razón de la ausencia de posts. Los próximos cinco meses voy a vivir como Erasmus en Groningen, una ciudad holandesa a unas tres horas de Ámsterdam, y cuya población mayoritaria son estudiantes que acuden desde diversas partes del mundo.

Como veis en las fotos se cumple totalmente el tópico de las bicicletas, vayas donde vayas encuentras aparcamientos llenos, es sin duda el transporte por excelencia, y en ellas reside gran parte del encanto de Groninga.

Durante ese tiempo, aunque intentaré enseñaros los descubrimientos que haga de este precioso país -Rotterdam, Ámsterdam, la Haya,...- los posts estarán más espaciados. Espero que sigáis ahí...Gracias!

This is the reason of the lack of posting. I'm living like Erasmus student for the next five months in Groningen, Holland. This is a beautiful city characterized by the large number of students who come from different countries around the world.

You can see in the pics that the topic of bicycles is absolutely true. Everywhere you look at is full of them and, no doubts, they're part of the charm of Groninga.

These months posts will delay a bit, but I hope you wait for me...Thanks in advance!

Caribbean vibe

Casi siempre, menos es más, y como ejemplo este vestido. La largura, las flores, los colores tropicales...hacen que se baste por sí mismo. Añadir algo en este caso sería restar, porque recargaría demasiado. Por eso, un rouge tirando a cereza me parece el mejor complemento.

Most of the time, less is more, and you only have to look at this dress to realize. The lenght, the flowers, the tropical colors...Adding something more would be too much! Therefore, a cherry lipstick is the best accesory.

Like a painter

No os recuerda este vestido a las típicas camisas de pintor, con esas enormes mangas abullonadas? Lo compré en Zara hace varios años y, aunque tiene un volumen un poco difícil, me encanta! sobre todo por el escote de la espalda, que no sé si os lo habré dicho, pero los prefiero totalmente.
Las sandalias tienen también bastante tiempo...muchísimo tiempo, de hecho. Y las pulseras son de cuando mi mami era joven.

This dress reminds me on typical painter shirts: the volume, the puffed sleeves...I bought it in Zara some years ago. I love back cleavages and this one isn't an exception!
Tha sandals are very old, and also the brazalets, because they're from my mum's teenager years!

Sunset light

Los DIY son una manera genial de reciclar ropa. Esta falda, por ejemplo, era antes de pasar por mis manos -y las de mi abu, sin la cual me hubiera quedado en dar un tijeretazo y ya!- un vestido. La parte de arriba se había quedado muy estrecha, y como siempre me encantaron los bordados que tiene abajo, no me quería deshacer de ella.

DIY's are a great way to recycle clothes. That skirt was a dress, but thanks to my grandma's help i've got a new garment without spending money! It didn't suit me anymore and I've always loved its embroidery, so I gave it a second chance!

Vintage inspiration

Podría pasar por un hallazgo vintage o un vestido "heredado", pero no, es de la marca sueca por excelencia, H&M. El color, el encaje, los pliegues, el cuello...me encanta!!! Lo sacaron también en negro, pero creo que no conseguía el mismo efecto.

It could be a vintage purchase or a "inherited" dress, but no, It's from the well-known Swedish brand H&M. The color, the lace, the folds, the neck part...I love it!! It was also sold in black, but the effect wasn't the same.
